This product is not intended to replace scaling under anesthesia, but rather to help reduce tartar in senior or health-sensitive dogs and cats that cannot undergo anesthesia.

When mixed with Repair Powder, it can also be used as a toothpaste. We recommend using it once a week for ongoing tartar prevention.
